Friend, or Foe?-Chapter 1: Kidnapped

 Jay stands in the rain, in the cemetery, not minding the rain pouring down his ginger-brown hair. He stood before a grave, his eyes red and filled with tears, this was all his fault...why did he have to be so childish? Jay couldn't stand being there anymore...he turned away from the grave, and walked slowly back home, but before he left he looked back once at the grave and whispered, "I-I'm sorry, Cole..."

 What happened? Well, lets rewind to about a few months ago...

[Cole's PoV]

"Stay away from my girl!" Jay shouted. I groaned, this is the fourth fight this week, and all of them were over the same thing: Nya. "Jay, for the last time! I'm not into her!" Jay scoffed and glared at me, "Yeah right, what makes you think I'll believe whatever you say?! You took her away from me!"

 "I did not!" I yelled back. "Then why do you think she's into you?! Huh? HUH?!" Jay snapped. I growled, I'm beginning to lose patience with Jay, and hes lucky I haven't unleashed my bad side...yet, anyway. "Well, at least she's into a hunk and not some twig!" I teased. I should have not said that. Why? Because Jay turned bright red with anger, and he looked at me with an icy glare, a look of his I've ever seen before. He sure looked angry. "WHAT. DID. YOU JUST CALL ME?!" he screamed. I froze and clutched my ears, that was loud. Jay then marched up to me and pushed me against the wall, grabbing my shirt and then punching my face over and over. I yelped but Jay only beat me more. I coughed once he was finally finished beating my face, I swear I could feel my left eye swell up. Then, Jay picked me up by the color and looked at me in the eyes, they showed enormous amounts of fury. "Get out of here," he snarled. "We don't need you, so leave..."

 My eyes widened, he dropped me and left me there, when he looked back and saw me still on the floor like a weakling he lost it, "I SAID GET OUT!!!!! GET OUT, OUT OUT!!!!" Startled I ran out of the hideout (their headquarters) as fast as I could, looking back to see if he was chasing me with a bat. I've never thought I'd felt so scared of someone in my life, and also, I never thought the person I'd be scared of was Jay.

 I run until my legs gave in and I was forced to drop to my knees in exhaustion. Taking deep breaths, I look up at the grey sky, and hear thunder, it was going to rain. I forced myself up and continued to run so I could find shelter, there's no way Jay would let me back in if I go back, that's for sure. The rain began to pour, I felt so cold, I wish I was inside and not out here. Jay probably doesn't want me on the team anymore, he'll probably tell everyone else to kick me off too...why don't I just leave I thought.

[No PoV]

So, with no one to stop him, he ran away. He was able to make it to Ninjago city, slipping into the alleyways to try and find some shelter. Unknown to him however, a mysterious figure hid in the shadows, following and watching him carefully. Cole came to a stop in front of what seemed like a phone booth, but before he could get inside to avoid the rain, someone put a cloth to his mouth. He tried to scream but as soon as he smelled the alcohol he was out cold. The figure dragged an unconscious Earth Ninja to who knows where.

This, is where the story begins.
